In may, we travelled to Brussels in order to visit other relevant orgs. We visited some think tanks related to international trade like ECIPE or EuroChambers and we also had a meeting with people from DG-Relex and DG-Trade in the Charlemagne Building of the Commission. I also had a personal meeting with spanish translators working in the EU Council, it was pretty interesting and discouraging at the same time... This trip was very important for me as I am writing my thesis about the EU.

For those who do not know I am studying a Master degree in International Economic Relations. Last February me and my classmates went to Geneva in order to visit some international organizations as the UNCTAD, UN or WTO. It was a very stressful week with plenty of meetings with think tanks, orgs, etc but I managed to have the time to visit the city and took some pictures. At this moment I am writing my master thesis and what I can tell is that it is the most difficult thing ever. Wish me luck!

Just some pictures that I took last february when I was in Paris. I am planning a weekend there in november. It is always nice to go back to Paris, so many memories and stories to remember. BTW, I am not going to update the blog until next month. I am just too busy with my thesis.

Blanco is worst than buying in a spanish street market

There is a shop in Spain that I cannot stand and it is called "Blanco". The clothes are bad sewed, the materials used are low quality and they try to copy well-known designs in the worst way. The other day I went to a Blanco store just to take a look and what I found was a cheap copy of Alexa's Mulberry bag (they did the same with the Kelly bag last year). No offense but I have always thought that people buying cheap copied bags  should be sentenced to death. If you cannot afford yourself a 600euros handbag just buy a cheap original bag and try to be yourself!

Next Saturday is my cousin's wedding. After one year of hard working I already have my outfit for that special day, a pink babydoll dress from Poète http://www.tiendapoete.com, high heel shoes, a little black handbag and a  "Blair Waldorf" style hairband.

Besides the wedding, next Saturday Belle & Sebastian are playing for free in Barcelona. The bad thing is that I'm going to miss their concert and it sucks because they are one of my favorite bands. I love their catchy happy songs and their naïve style. Hope they'll come back someday!
